Ensure that high print volumes move fast directly from workstations to printer.
Similar to the standard printing environment where user jobs are sent directly to
a printer for immediate release, as long as, users have enough funds to pay for
the transaction. In some environments it is imperative to send jobs directly to
the printer to eliminate the PRS interaction and move large volume of printing,
users must be aware that all print jobs come out without supervision, therefore
is not a secure method of printing rather a fast one.
Note: The PaperCut Application allows for a combination of both methods of printing,
Direct and via a Release Station. PaperCut NG provides the framework and software
interface to implement hold/release queues.
